Why doesn't UBER get Xbox Live to do the promotion for Games With Gold? It would help bring people back into the community and the game itself? Its a great game to see go to waste because no-one plays it much anymore? I know there would be a tonne of losses with it I imagine, but think of the people back on and playing the game. And I can see for sure that a LOT of people play the Games With Gold games, probably because they are free yes, but I think it could pay off?
    Thoughts?
If I'm talking crap, please inform me, I'm new here :p

Games with Gold, as I understand, is designed around games with paid DLC -- which is not the case with MNC. You will likely never see this happen.

Ahh, makes sense! And I guess doing DLC now would be stupid. Shame, thought I was onto a winner there! :p

And thankyou, glad to be here! Love the game, only got on XBL though and its very quiet :(

Dust was a summer of arcade game and apparently didn't have dlc. Sounds like monday night has a chance cause it was a summer of arcade game and doesn't have any paid dlc.

If new players do join, please give them a chance. Everyone was new at some point.

The games have either DLC or are getting a sequel soon and want to promote. Dust has DLC. It has Avatar packs currently, and it was supposed to have a "challenge" pack at one point. But that got scrapped, last I checked but you never know when it might get done. It is a great game though, I really enjoyed it except for one part that was just lazy writing in my opinion (they never explained WHY Gaius and Cassius hated the Moonbloods so much other than "they have to or else there is no plot"). Maybe it will be revealed later; because Dust is getting a sequel - there were five swords of Elysium after all, and I suspect they will each be featured at one point.

But in terms of MNC there is no incentive for Uber to do it. They don't want to work with MS, and making your game free is not helpful since they are not planning a sequel.

Fair summary! How come they don't want to work with MS? Is that on another forum somewhere about it? I mean, I imagine MS being the size that it is, can probably push its weight around and force companies to do deals etc that they don't want, or at least, I guess that's a reason they wouldn't want to work with them. I don't know, just plucking at straws really haha :)

No worries. I actually think it was for the best. PC MNC died in part because the updates sucked. Super MNC was just bad (if you really like MNC Xbox). The changes would have certain classes almost literally too frustrating to play - like assassin with even less armor, or assault with an even faster bomb recharge, or sniper with only four bullets...

Really all we ever wanted was some bug fixes and better custom lobby support.

And that thing in CoD where you can hear the other player flip the f*ck out when you kill him. We all want that.
