I got the game in open beta. I paid $60 for it and since Gamma started, I haven't been able to play it at all. I can get into the main menu and I've turned my graphics all the way down. When ever i get into a match, my game freezes and closes itself down. I am very disappointing and I ask for either the game to not require an dedicated graphics card or a partial refund. I have contacted Uber Net before, but they said they couldn't help and didn't do a thing about it.
Check out this thread: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/how-to-improve-performance-all-video-cards-driver-links.53165/ Update your drivers. That will probably fix the issue. You don't need a super powerful graphics card to play this game.
PA is very scalable- it runs on most things including modern integrated graphics cards. What are the specifications of you're system? There may be some things we can do to help.

You can just list them here... I think you need to have more posts to be able to upload a file. If you're integrated graphics are very old that might be the problem- however a dedicated card to run PA wont cost much, we'd need to know what we're dealing with though to help properly...
I got this Toshiba Satellite A5924 laptop in January. It has an Intel i7 processor. Apparently, since I'm a new user, I can't post links to their website so just google Toshiba Satellite S55-A5294 if needed. Attached is my Dxdiag file containg the system specs.
Ok it looks like you're graphics driver is out of date- you need to get the driver direct from Intel: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Se...Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 4000 Install that and try again...
I went to the website and i downloaded the driver updater and it said my computer was modified and it couldnt help me.
Ah... bloody laptop manufacturers! I'm sure there is a way around this, but it's probably a bit beyond me. SSX is the man to talk to.
I do have one suggestion for you- it might sound a little extreme but bear with me.... I don't know if you're familiar with Linux, there are a number of free 'distrobutions' (basically full operating systems you can download and install for free). PA runs quite well on Linux, and the Intel HD 4000 drivers should work even if they don't in windows. You won't have to replace windows- it's quite easy to set them up side by side (the installer gives you this option). It's kinda extreme I know but it might just get it working If you're interested in trying it I'd recommend Ubuntu as it's probably the easiest version to work with: http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop
I dont think im willing to go that far. My laptop is used by my family sometimes and I dont want them confused. Also, I want to keep my laptop as stock as possible.
Fair enough. Actually you might be able to get the Intel drivers to install, I've been doing a little digging on you're laptop.... From what I can gather the issue is that Toshiba have modified their version of the driver (mainly for keyboard shortcuts on the laptop and such- e.g. the switch screen buttons, brightness control and so on). If you don't mind taking a slight chance (nothing you shouldn't be able to undo should it cause problems though)- fully uninstall the graphics drivers that are on there. Then you should be able to install the Intel ones (hopefully). I'd recommend keeping a copy of the install for the latest Toshiba approved driver for you're machine, that way if it doesn't work or causes some unforeseen issue you can re-install the current drivers,
What I did was I updated my drivers through the control panel. Once I did that, I could run the game on even higher graphics
sorry to hear about your problem this game is still in development and does not appear to be optimised yet make sure that your computer has a dedicated graphics card one which was considered to be mid range when the game was first announced if your graphics card was low end when this game was announced then you should not complain that your computer cant run it
Ok, well that sounds like a common problem we had here often... you need to force the new videodriver to update. SXX has done this quite a few times and he had a How to... somehwhere... you should be able to update your drivers... I will continue and look for the link. Found it, take a look here and follow SXX links... you need to manually install the drivers, you need to download the Zip file, not the EXE file. https://forums.uberent.com/threads/...king-yeah-its-one-of-those.59985/#post-932880
