pretty much like he ignored what I said. http://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/I wasn't born yesterday! http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/1363802
You linked three images of upvoted YouTube comments, presumably made by yourself. What else did you say? EDIT@tatsujb: Try a better source, perhaps. And don't jump on the character assassination train
Quote wars! EDIT: to be more clear, I'm pretty sure the comment order has been redone, and I don't often bother with YouTube comments because the point of YouTube is to watch videos, and not argue with cretins. I get enough challenges dealing with people on forums (not here, it must be noted), nevermind the cesspits that are reddit or YouTube.
You didn't bring up any issues that I haven't addressed (yes, I can play this game too) What issues did you bring up that I didn't address? The fact that you can't read names and infer who is replying to who (hint: "+Bob" means they're replying to Bob)?
Yes but we don't know which of Bob's comments its a reply too. Also it keeps switching my account for no bloody reason.
Doesn't switch my account, and I have two Google accounts I keep having to sign in with (and my gf logs me out on my home PC at the moment because she broke her laptop :|). I mean, I don't know how good Google's support is, but have you tried filing any kind of bug report? I tweeted something at YouTube regarding playlist functionality and it was fixed (for whatever reason) literally the following day. I doubt I'm so important that they fixed it just for me, but evidently something went down. I get where you're coming from now r.e. comments, but I just assume chronological progression. I'll agree it could be better, but again, chat on YouTube is like a spoon for my steak. I don't need it. Personal bias!
Here's something fun I discovered. You can delete replies to your comments. Someone made a valid point which invalidates what you said? Nope! Voom! Gone! You'll never see a reasonable two-sided discussion on youtube ever again once the majority of the community figures this out.
You need to stop making this easy for me > implying there are ever reasonable two-sided discussions on YouTube. > implying this behaviour is intended and will never change.
I'm afraid if I do you'll run away . There I fixed it. If you aren't supposed to be able to do it then it shouldn't be in the UI.
Care to post your opinion, good sir? I'm being nice with Geers, as I like the guy. I can ramp up the condescending tone to 11, just for you. Limited time offer!
Just to clarify, I didn't say you are both wrong about the statement, I said you are both wrong thinking you are winning. ...while Geers made it quite clear he does care about the comment section. So you're both holding an argument about the quality of a feature when you both have a different opinion on the importance of said feature and therefore the necessairy quality of said feature.
