Planetary Mass affecting gravity and projectile drop.

?

What do you think of a planets "mass" affecting it's gravity.

  1. I like it, planetary mass should affect the gravity of a planet.

    40.5%
  2. I like it, but only as an option, as I'm sure many players may not understand it or want it.

    7.1%
  3. I like it, but only as a mod, as I don't think it should be a part of the base game.

    11.9%
  4. I don't really like it, it's too complex.

    31.0%
  5. I don't really like it, (other.)

    9.5%

More real than reality again. In reality, there are no sounds without air. Sound is the vibration through air, human ears pick up the vibrations through the air, where air literally vibrates air in a wave further and further ahead. No air, no sound. Even water has what can be construed as sound because it transfers vibrations through it, but it is serverely muffled to a monosound when the origin can be a distinct and complex sound.

from what I understood that tech is already there and was part of the original plan simply isn't used in-game right now.

you can turn on gravity simulation in the system designer to see what it's like.

what's really missing is the destruction and collision effect if ever two bodies cross. that's why it's not available in regular gameplay right now.

I think it's the original plan to have it in.

I have no idea if the original plan took a hit since then, we've had no news on the matter.

I really hope that isn't the case. This really is a big feature in the game and it would be utter waste not to have it.

I can't see why anyone wouldn't want to play on fully simulated bodies in their simulated projectile game...

I like the idea, but I think this will require a lot of extra unnecessary coding @Uber, so lets keep it the way it is ;)
