Well I'm sorry, The way you made it sound was that you were literally reverse engineering/picking at Uber's coding... you even showed an error code that further refined that thought. Also, don't assume you are the almighty and that no on here has worked on games; I myself have in fact. I've also been working on extensive work into modding PA, working on a mod for super-units, a whole entire TA to be PA total conversion mod, and more.

The commander is not just another unit. It is the control unit. It controls all other units on the field. From our perspective the units seem autonomous but that is not the case. They are slave units to the will of the commander. So when the commander dies the units self destruct as sort of a dead switch. They have no control input so they just stop working.

Have you watched any of the king of the planet matches? they are often decided in less than 15 minutes. the game is not slow. You are just playing on too large a battlefield. If you want a marathon game use 5,6,7, even 10 planets. But it is not the fault of the game that you are creating such excessively large battlefields.

they have not released offline mode because they are not releasing the server until release. It will be the last feature they add before release.

Do you know anything about programming? Being a programmer, why would I sit and reverse engineer hex code when i can write new code from scratch. You can't get Uber Entertainments original code by hacking, you can sort out some assembly commands, but you'll never have their code... it would be impossible for me to violate copyright by reverse engineering this game, i wouldn't have the same result as Uber.

Modding is not programming, don't mix the two. I can tell about what you know by what you say.
Modding is really simple, i've done it for hundreds of games over the last 28 years.

Erm.. Modding can clearly take SOME idea on coding, it would be impossible to modify a game, add completely custom units, change existing ones, new biomes, etc... without at least some basic understanding of programming. Oh and in case you're wondering, I've worked in numerous different languages. My first was python, then java and C++. Modding may not always need programming expertise but more in depth modifications certainly do. Even the basic UI mods require programming skills.

While I can definitely see where you're coming from, silly threats like this help no-one. It's a web forum, report the post or put the poster on ignore.

Edit: Again, I really feel like I gotta' say sorry, I never mean't to make you feel like I'm pushing you down or something, all I mean't to do was defend myself to a point. I spend quite a bit of my day just refreshing the forums as I don't have much to do, even in class, which may make me seem like I'm just waiting for you to post just to completely fight of your point but that really wasn't the intent... Found a no win situation, server seems to have aborted the game... "Connection to server was lost"
My commander was en-route to a planet but all planets were blown up with moons by the ai, only two planetary bodies remained but my target was used to blow up all my units on the planets, my commander then became un-killable by spinning round the sun for 3 rotations, then "connection lost"

I don't really know how I really harassed you, but I am sincerely sorry that you feel that I have.

I also don't really think it's possible to take legal action against someone on the internet, look at all the youtube comments, but that's not the point, I just genuinely don't like making people feel bad.

Harassment is continuing to post to me, like you are, after being asked to leave me alone. That is the legal definition of harassment, when I ask you to leave me alone and you do not, you are harassing me.
