Bought on steam. Want to use Uber Launcher

I want to participate in the experimental builds but I can only do that with the uberlauncher and for that i need a cd-key which i dont believe i received when purchasing the steam version. Any way around this?

ok but when i download the launcher the first thing it wants is a username and password. the only password and username uber has is this on for the forum so is there something im failing to understand or what?

Your Ubernet account is how you login to PA through the Uber launcher. So that should be the same as your forum access if I remember correctly.

I was actually in a similar boat. If I'm correct you need to link your steam and Uber accounts here:
https://uberent.com/user/linkedsteamaccount

Once that's done you should be able to log into the launcher through your Uber account.

If it still doesn't work you may need to link your steam and uber accounts.

Back when I got started in early beta, PA forced you to do that the first time you fired it up. Or it made you create an ubernet account and linked it automagically. IIRC anyways.

The new launcher worked just fine for me, logged in with ubernet and it was good to go

yea i had to link my steam account, and for some reason i had an old steam account linked to uber,
