Once spotted, icons for enemy units and buildings under construction remained visible, complete with progress bars. Game ended in server crash.
Hi, I've just noticed 2 things from the new build I believe both of them are bugs but I'm certain 1 is - anyhow this is what I have noticed first of all: The build indicator is wrong - such as the green bar is too far on the left to begin with and when the building is nearly finished the bar is not fully filled as you can see from the above image. The bug that I am unsure about is nukes - I know that the nukes are interplanetary but I thought that I'd try my luck - I had managed to launch a nuke from a planet to another 1 that were not in orbit of each other as you can see from my below screenshot: The nuke itself came from WarLOK to Hellfire and to my surprise it hit the planet.
This very buggy build scares me. Should I install? Aye, I paid 100 dollars to be a bug tester, and test bugs I shall! Wait, why did I volunteer for this again? Oh, because it has been one VERY fun ride, that's why, I regret nothing. *polishes empty spot on shelf for PA swag* The only thing I miss, is that last PTE had no disadvantageous bugs. It was viable in competitive play, it was the fault of the refusing players that ruined it for me. This build I cannot say is fair to play competitives in
Uh oh people are going to be confused if watching Zaphodx and not sure what a scamper used to be. hahah
it feels like advanced is not possible to build with the current eco balancing. i play now 20 minutes vs ai, which is not attacking me a single time and i hardly can build out of a advanced vehicle factory and push further eco at the same time!
I spotted an interesting one: Area load for the Astraeus allows for units under construction in a factory to be picked up. When I sent the group of Astraeii, Astraeuses, whatever to another planet, the game just stopped. Like paused. Sorry if this is an already known bug.
Anchors show their range. Unfortunatly, it's only visible when other orbital units are nearby, because it doesn't project the red circle on the ground, but on the orbital units. Some pathing issues when trying to go around this volcano-like mountain on an earth planet. They just ran into it and stopped. Doesn't happen the whole time though. The Progenitor can moonwalk. (Animation displayed it moving south while it was moving north.) Some fires stayed after their trees died.
Just played this version for the first time vs. AI. T1 tanks with double HP feel much much better. In my opinion this could be increased even more. T1 defense towers still shred them to pieces. Bots still feel way too squishy - I would go so far to increase bot hp to 200% and tank hp even further. T1 and T2 seem so far apar economy wise it feels really awkward. I still vote for the 'bring down T2 power and cost and make them specialists' approach.
also played vs ai....and even if cost barrier for t2 is high it feels rly good. only t2 ground units are way way way too weak for their cost now compared to t1. secound thing : nukes are now way too cheap. they should be scaled up in cost like everything else (by like dunno factor 4?), and made more powerful maybe (bigger radius for example). third thing : restricting resource is now metal.... not shure if this is good. before it was energy, but that could be gatherd infinite. now energy is nearly meaningless. even is you scramble a economy down to ~5-6k energy it can rebuild in nearly no time because of the immense build efficency of t2 builders regarding to energy use.
I have an issue only happening in the PTE 65048 and 65103. None of the icons are showing in game : Unit icons and metal spot icons. I disabled all mods, triple checked the UI options. Nothing helped. Does anyone has the same bug?
Build 65103-balance reverts the assault bot back to the 64498 version: Fires from alternating arms 10 damage 150 velocity 0 splash damage
