I'm fine with bradicorn, honestly.

To be honest, I was kind of with Scathis. Ant is kind of a stupid name for a tank.

I don't think it's particularly about Ant being a cool name or not; people want it back because it was the first name, and people got used to it.
If it was to be named something ridiculous, like Flying Nutella Monster, people would scream to bring it back.

I would be up for another name if they submit a good name eventually.

Note my sarcasm, but they would find a good name faster if they stopped coming up with troll names (titanium insect, UNIT CANNON?!!) for jollygood laughs at the expense of those community guys that can't handle a joke (it really got under some people's skin)

Also, I would post faster in duplicate threads posted in TWO SUBFORUMS AT ONCE if I just copy-pasted my answers...

I don't agree with his logic.

He thinks ants are things you step on, weak and powerless.

They're not. if you've ever leaned on the subject with more curiosity, you'll find ants are amazing.

They help each other out and they can heal incredibly well from wounds even if they can't grow anything back or regenerate, their internal organs are quite adjustable in position which can allow them to survive even with damaged or compressed abdomen.

They do as much as they can to save and keep a fellow ant going rather than leave him to die.

As for numbers the name really speaks for itself.

Sure ants are weak but they are 10,000 times more numerous than humans.

a single ant is not much threat but if you ever step on an anthill....

ants have a hive-mind, they act as one, if the colony is threatened then it's every single ant in that colony's business, not just the small neighborhood of that colony that was threatnened. Sometimes smashing a single ant is the beginning of one big fight to which they bring all their "bros"

I respect the name "ant" for the t1 tank, it makes scene for so many different reasons. But I also respect Scathis's point of view

....which is why we should settle for an even bradicorn.

I liked the name Pounder. Fits with the rest of the vehicle names. Particularly to the Leveller.

BRING BACK THE ANT!

Back when the Ant existed T1 was relevant and there's be tons of game with streaming Ants marching all over the place. I thought the name was appropriate.

How about "The Cannon Unit"

Pounder was my prefered name for the Basic Tank, hopefully it makes another appearance.

P.S. What if Scathis trolls us and renames the UC back to the Ant before the release and then changes it last minute before the release?

This movemant needs a logo. Can somebody photoshop me 100 ants(the unit) with ants(the insect) arms carrying t2 units. Have the units upside down.
