    I'm sure NASA has some sort of absolute basic "stuff in a can" that's arguably edible for astronauts, since zero G does funny things to people. See if you can get that.

    Protein shakes and starches. Basically, baked potatoes with lots of meat, chased by banana shakes mixed with creotene protein powder.

    Good luck in the military (i recognize this question, which is why I know the answer, many people I know been through this), everyone else I know used these tips is my reference.

    If you were serious about the diabetic excuse you gave us, sorry, and the same should work. Just make sure to force yourself to eat until you can't anymore. Also, by speculation of the Atkin's diet, you can't JUST eat starch or you actually LOSE weight (bottlenecking a specific nutrient causes expulsion of other nutrients more abundant than it, a wierd loophole in digestion and diet), so yes, eat lots of vegetables of a variety of color as well as grainy bread.

    I need recipes. Preferably good ones.

    It's sounding like I should be eating veggies and chicken. Now to make them taste good.

    did u know a diabeticer coulde lose the illnes just by eating healtyer and stay in shape. atlest reduce it by soo much

    Sounds like you need to eat a ton of peanut butter and some salmon/tuna here and there. Cook everything with extra virgin olive oil and make sure you eat plenty of veggies.
    Basically, nuts, fish, veggies=Health.

    The reason to eat these, and mainly to eat fatty fish over chicken is because you're going to be lacking calories without many carbs in your diet. Fat carries a lot more calories than carbs or protein and will keep you more full and keep you in a caloric surplus without having to eat a ton. Drinking milk with every meal might not be a bad idea either to be honest.

    Only thing to be cautious with Peanut Butter - it is extremely high in Omega 6, which for many people is a lot more inflammatory. Peanuts, since they are legumes, also can have more reaction in people than most nuts. Almond butter can be a solid alternative, and walnuts are one of the best nuts in terms of omega 3 to omega 6 ratios.

    Otherwise, xshammas is pretty much right on.

    Still noting a significant lack of recipes though. I'll post one when I find something interesting and tasty.

    Yeah, if you saw how I live, you would know I don't have a diverse library of recipes. I can make recipes on the fly. But usually I live off non-perishables thrown together in different mixes. Thus my love for ramen. Throw mushrooms or mixed veggies or even spinach in ramen and its great. Besides that, mashed taters and chili, or stuffing and spinach, or cheddar rice and mashed taters, is usually the kind of things I eat. I occasionally make a swiss steak or a stroganoff or cabbage and pork or a slowcoocker roast, but thats not a real variety.

    @Arseface Has your doctor suggested this? If so, they might be able to reference some recipes as well. If your insurance covers a Nutritionist, that can be really helpful too.

    I was going to recommend getting in contact with a nutritionist too. The situation sounds too specific to leave in the hands of a videogame forum

    OFF-TOPIC: Holy crap you play a PA game with me yesterday. I was the guy you went gil-e vs gil-e against. The cata's would have helped me compete against you if the opposite side of those cata's weren't nuked by my own clanmates (>.>), and they nuked me so you would kill me when they themselves couldn't kill you and you orbital sniped them. THEY SHOULD HAVE NUKED YOU, they had a chance against me and I had a chance against you, they totally free-for-all-randyjerked that game up for me. Well GG add me on PA sometime!

    Added, I had abit to much wine last night, i deleted that post because i think that memory belongs too me and the people that are close to me:) nothing wrong about that:)
