    Okay, so on the off chance that anyone here may want to move to Canada (or come here for a long amount of time for one reason or another), I have a tech tip for you:

    Do not, under any circumstances, get Bell as an internet provider, unless you like frequent disconnects that can last for several hours.

    I remember reading about this one guy who found it was faster and cheaper to copy 250gb onto a hard drive, send it by post and copy it off the hard drive than it was to upload and download.

    It really is.
    My internet speed on them is sitting at 8 mbps download and .7mbps upload.

    I really need to switch...

    I have 11 DL and .8 UL according to the speed test I took. Bloody NBN not being built...

    Thanks, it's the glory of living by a river, and so with our space age technology we are only able to do so much to combat water!

    I wish I at least lived in a house on the river instead of a tower block! Then at least id have a nice place to live too....bah! Id live in Afghanistan if it meant a better internet connection....actually....are they looking for skilled workers?
