Hi folks. It's time for another community consultation. We will be starting in about two and a half hours time, so we hope to see you there. We expect to have a meeting with Uber very soon, so if there is anything in particular that you want us to bring up with them, make sure you come along.

We are essentially a Bridge the Devs and the community. We've been doing for a few months now! We primarily do newsletters after Q&A sessions with Neutrino, Newsletters #1, #2, #3.

We're currently working on a new one but with PAXEast the Devs have been very busy so we're still working on it. The VCC is just element to this and is a platform for "high bandwidth" communication with the community to answer questions and just talk about things.

Not quite, we don't really make announcements or do any traditional PR stuff, we just work to supplement Uber's Communication on the Forums and with the community.

I only thought it was annoying because I assumed it wasn't your real name.

its only bothered me that there is a toddlers show called mike the knight.

I am entirely up in the air whether its coincidence or not, but its so hard to know, that the only thing I am sure is that its a mindf***.

I was not present btw for same reasons I don't make it to weekend tournaments. Busy on weekends.

Please pardon my derail. In answer to what a Vanguard is, here is Merriam Webster's definition:
van·guard
noun\ˈvan-ˌgärd also ˈvaŋ-\
: the group of people who are the leaders of an action or movement in society, politics, art, etc.

the vanguard : the soldiers, ships, etc., that are at the front of a fighting force that is moving forward

In essence, the Planetary Vanguards are the ones to reach out to with immediate questions about Planetary Annihilation. They have weekly consultations with the Dev team and are able to ask all the questions the Community has been curious about and relay the answers back to the Community.

I wish they were weekly and it's something I want to improve on but at the same time we want to be considerate of the Dev's time as well.
