re-install your graphic driver.. It missing .. lol DxDiag.txt says your using the microsoft basic VGA driver (the one used if no driver is installed)
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows 8 - 64 If the 14.3 catalyst driver wont install let me know..
I just finished the install, but after opening a new DxDiag, it still shows the Microsoft basic VGA thing.
Hmmmn.. Go back and enable the card you disabled. After it's back on post me a DxDiag.txt with the Card running. Edit.. Dont forget to re=install the driver after re-enabling the card to make sure driver is there.
a ha... After disabling the dedicated card you may need to go into the bios to enable the embedded GPU.. I'll do a quick google on it to make sure, ..
no problem at all, I cant find much info on it, but i think you may need to reboot and goto the bios and see if there is an option in there somewhere to enable/disable the integrated graphics, if the onboard/iGPU is off turn it on, If it's on then your using the onboard graphics already.
Ah, that's unfortunate :/ guess I'll just have to look into getting a new one (my friend offered to sell me an ATI Radeon HD 4870x2 for $100, so that might work.) Well, thanks again for the help!
I'll post a bit of info here for SXX to read so he knows what were trying to acheive, he may have solution @SXX tehtrekd has a HD 7350 gpu on an Amd A8-5500 (as far as i know the a8-5500 has embedded 7650d) Is it possible for tehtrekd to disable the 7350 and use the embedded 7650d (which should offer better performance than the crappy x3xx series hd card) or is the hd 7350 showing in tehtrekd's dxdiag.txt the embedded GPU?
one of those 4870's will out perform the 7300 tenfold ..lol But wont have features like being able to run Dx11 titles and i think ATI are dropping support for anything before the 5xxx series cards so up to date drivers maybe more difficult to acquire.
just to show you how bad the 7300 is i found a site that has the 7300 vs the 4870 x2... http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-HD-7350-vs-Radeon-HD-4870-X2 wow the 4870 x2 murders the 7300 in terms of performance (i was right ten times more powerful easy)
2 things, using an @"someones name" doesn't send them a notification and PA doesn't currently support more than one gpu at a time
