Voice Over: What Alerts Do You Want To Hear?

    Whatever you do, please make John Patrick Lowrie the voice actor for everything.
    Epic voice combined with nostalgia - this would be beyond awesome.

    Exactly, I must keep attention on the stuff that the enemy makes, do scouting or building radars, not the alerts should tell me that.
    When I miss something important from my opponent, then I must be more attentive next time.

    With orbital Radar / power to see - "Enemy Commander detected in orbit" when moving from planet to planet would help a great deal as a warning.

    Err....yes. Essentially, the kind of voice that tells you that the nuclear warhead is about to land on your head, chance of survival - 0%, as if that's not a very bad thing.



    Actually, I guess at that point, it isn't.

    Whatever the alerts are, please make them configurable so that for each possible alert we can configure

    - if there's an audio alert for that event
    - if there's a visual alert for that event

    Also, please do it in such a way that mods can easily replace the sounds, and allow for different sounds for each event.

    Enemy Building Destroyed!! (The destruction of an opposing players Non-defensive buildings)

    We also need a warning whenever an enemy unit fires on one of our structures. Every time. No cooldown. It should also have a separate follow-up to state whether the shot landed. It should then talk **** about their mother.

    please give us nuclear silo detected. Without persistent icons, seeing them in a base covered in FOW is a bitch.

    also any attempt at building them would paint a bullseye on them for other players, encouraging unit attacks that might have otherwise been held off. More destruction, more action, more fun. Win for everyone.

    The idea of having to micromanage intel goes totally against the scale concept of the game. You'll still have to do that anyway once your opponent has decent AA up around their base. Just don't force me to do it every... few... seconds.
