it was a pain making them transparent also...truthfly i have no clue how to add them into the modmager so..youl have to go into the file and replace them mauly and..I NEED THE SUPCOM QOUNTOME GATE ICON T.T
Or you could package it as a mod so you don't have to overwrite the original game files. Unzip the attached zip file in "~/.local/Uber Entertainment/Planetary Annihilation/mods" for Linux, "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Uber Entertainment/Planetary Annihilation/mods" for Mac OS X or "%APPDATA%/Uber Entertainment/Planetary Annihilation/mods" for Windows. Then run PAMM and enable the mod from there. Now you just need to get it submitted to PAMM for easy download and install.
Go to here and follow the instructions there. Or I can do it for you if you want, but the first method is preferred, since you will be able to push updates more easily then.

I just tried to update the mod by moving them to the new atlas location, however they look like this: They are very unclear. I think the icons themselves need to be updated for the new patch.
hi, some of the icons are just too small I guess, and the unitsymbols are very thin. Try to add bigger outlines and bigger symbols. keep it up, Moldez
new verson will be in PAMM! @moldez they are small but once you play like 1 or 2 games they seem fine and the unit symbols...if i can find something out....it would make them very easy to see!
why are you using @nuketf 's version? have you never seen my sig? isn't it time you took it down from PAMM ? no harm intended
