So it is easy to see if the network causes lags.
Or is there some option like that already?

    Ctrl+Shift+Esc? :p

On a serious note though, agreed.

an external tool can only tell me how much bandwith PA uses, it cannot really tell if the server is just throtteling or if my own connection is too bad or the like.

As far as I know it's pretty easy to see network lag. If 6-7Mbps used and you still have stuttering/freezes then it's bandwidth throttling problem. :)

Nope for sure or at least I didn't find it.

Also in today stream @metabolical answer few questions so here is features that might come in future:
    1. Option to set exchange rate limit on client.
    2. Priority for curve of different types. E.g T1 bots projectile less important than nuke so if there not enough bandwidth between client and server you still get nuke position updated in time.
    3. Feature to only update information about units on have in camera view.
So I suppose at moment client update information about every unit you have vision for.

Well an ingame view would be really helpful I think, as I have seen people go "all fps look fine but it lags, wtf" an extra view that shows "you are seeing network lag" would be helpful.

Does 1 mean we can set it higher than at the moment?
2 is pretty cool, i.e. unit movement is much more noticeable then bullet movement.
3... I wonder how laggy that is when I switch around a lot via camera hotkeys.

No idea. At moment there is bandwidth limit on server side and it's won't go higher than 6-7Mbps. I suppose it's limited for same reason why we still have 10 player games.

I suppose there can be little workarounds that might help to make it work better. For example client know position of camera view on anchors so it's can easily update units in here, but not as often as for your main view.

ChronoCam is actually flexible here and as long as you don't want to see everything there is tons way Uber can optimize bandwidth usage.

I asked Varrak to include all three Ctrl P screen shots into the Ctrl F11 hotkey, so all the screens are captured at the same time.

This would be another good one to have as well included.

I would like to see ping times to the hosting server...

I feel the game lags and is more difficult to control when my ping is bad!!
    I'm using a 3g pocket modem with wireless g :(
My modem ping times usually suck in most games, i think when my ping is bad i'm de-syncing and losing lots of packets..

PA use TCP, it's don't lose packets.
