Sometimes I'm glad to be a bit older. All they could destroy for me was Star Wars, Star Trek, Dune and Terminator. Which they did. With a passion. At least the Lord of the Rings movies were very good.
Star Trek was . . . destroyed? Terminator 3 was god-awful, but at least Salvation was decent enough. Also, TMNT is TMNT. That's all there is to it. The main weakness of the Transformer films was that there was too much emphasis on the human side (though this was partly due to budget constraints for CGI). TMNT should be about, well, the Turtles. If it is, then it isn't ruined. Whether it ends up being a good film or not is entirely questionable, however It can still be TMNT as we know it and still be a bad film
Well, Voyager wasn't quite as amazing as TNG or DS9, but it was a decent enough show, so I wouldn't say Star Trek was destroyed. It's just a shame they never made anything after it ended . . .
I think the movie will do fine... Micheal Bay is a producer, not the director. Jonathan Liebesman is the director. if you like These movies, you'll like this movie.
I feel like I'm the only person who thought the transformers movies were awesome. Probably because I ignored everything that wasn't bigass robots punching eachother.
I'm working on Fall of Cybertron right now. Loving the art/story/etc, hate the controls with a passion(especially camera/mouse control)
I might should go home and play some. Finished with multiplayer leveling up, but still fun to get on. Reminds me of smnc. When I get corrosive slime cannon, I imagine I'm fatassin (vet)
Never watched TMNT but just from the trailer I can judge it's gonna be crap. Bad acting, bad CGI and overall a completely dissonant mood.
Worst thing is, even if it is garbage, it will make a fat stack of cash, and perpetuate the Hollywood tendency to fund movies like this.
Sad thing is there was going to be ninja aliens instead of turtles.. The fans changed that But onto the topic of remakes and sequels.. Ghostbusters 3 is being produced by dan akroid And goonies 2 is in the works according to richard donner Big problem w these remakes is they never include original casts or most ideas.. They try to make it for now rather then then... Robocop is a big example. Goonies and ghostbusters can banefit more w now and cgi.
For Ghostbusters 3, can't exactly get the original cast anymore unless they bring back Egon as a ghost
