Well, I am silly, I need your help. I keybinded to toggle the free cam. I click da button, my cam successfully toggles to free views. If I click my middle mouse button, I can easily look around. But I am stuck in one place! WASD does nothing ... Arrows do nothing ... (I use WASD to move normally). Sooo .... how does one fly around?
I think people generally use "Debug cam", which is activated by Ctrl+M and then WASD does work. R and F change the altitude. I haven't figured out how to change the camera angle though...
I am not sure on Mac or Linux but on windows you drag with the middle mouse button to change the angle
It's bs though, that you can't issue any commands in that mode; just pan to watch your stuff get destroyed until you get out of that mode again....wtf...
It's not meant for game play. It's meant for looking at pretty things close-up afterwards or for spectators. You don't have time to look at pretty stuff when there is a war going on.
I can control my army from Debug Camera. Free Camera is just a gimpy* version of the Debug Camera, and not worth using for the foreseeable future. *Would "gimpy" disqualify me from a tournament?
