Well I think turret build times need to be reduced for the double barrel and triple barrel turrets. Thats all. Currently I think they build to fast.

currently build times are based on metal cost so, you mean that their metal cost should go up then? what cost do you think is balanced?

I dunno. But currently t3 turrets can take out around 35 plus units tier 1. Make them a little bit faster of when they are in beta. Its way to easy to build them in gamma.

I did not do such test, so i am curious will two T3 turrets kill 70 T1 units or more. I think that function T3 turrets vs T1 units is not linear. ( at least it feels like that). I also think that there is number of T3 turrets that can kill any amount of land T1s.

What all that means is T1 units are obsolete when enemy builds enough turrets.

Nobody here talks about density of DPS. Maybe some of you remembers first 3D rts Warzone 2100. It had research tree, custom units build etc. And robots were most efficient on smaller maps. Because one could pack much more of those robots per square pixel than huge sturdy tanks which took a lot of space. With tanks result was such only first 2 lines were fighting when rest was piled up right outside of range.

Same factor plays big role here, but in PA it is missing, tier 1 units do not pack close enough to have that very strong wall of high DPS. With such concentration possible one could send 500 T1s, and they would flatter everything in range, unless enemy had AOE defenses. Think about T1 as robot infantry, lots of expandable cannon fodder, that has devastating power in big numbers because of concentration of DPS in small area.
