Ranked Mods Idea + mock ups

that's not true, it's not the only problem I'm tackling here. If you look at my mockup you can tell that the idea is of an approach that presents playing mods like a hassle-free and very interfaced thing.

And yes it does put mods in the ranked category up front as people will see them as soon as they want to host a game.

If they're not curious enough yet, they just hit "enter" when they arrive on the screen. Default is stock.

Once they get curious enough they just browse though this screen and try it out. Or simply they end up joining one of the modded hosts by accident/curiosity and then they discover it (but in that case the mod doesn't even have to be a ranked).

It's a much more direct/immersive approach than anything I know.

there is no assuming on my part. I really fail to grasp what the issue is, It seems more and more chimeric to me.

My idea is at the peak of visibility and accessibility.

I will only accept your criticism once you have laid on the table your own proposal for a system that would promote mods, make them visible and accessible and provide ranking for them all the while keeping non-ranked mods and ranked mods mixed in the hosts list.

I don't see how the validity of my criticism is dependant on having my own proposal, in fact, you're so specific if what my proposal needs to be it's not really my proposal anymore.

Besides, I've already talked about all this kind of stuff before, it's not like this is the first thread to ever deal with doing Ladders for Mods or such along those lines.

Also don't let me get you down or whatnot, propose away I won't say anything. I'll keep to myself, but it'd be much more usefull to me because I'd have something to compare my idea to this way I could make it better.
