The Nano Turret Should Be in PA ?

I did consider this, but the option to boost building times makes sense, as it allows you some extra control over your economy which can have tactical impacts; making more Fabbers or churning out some Bots to defend or rush is a worthwhile option.
That being said, it needs to be so that you can't assist faster than two factories can build, to reward expansion and prevent turtling. This goes for Nukes as well.

This would almost be like a shield that isn't a shield.

It'd kinda function the same. Keeping walls and defensive towers alive for longer.

Wouldnt that be horrifically OP?
Walls would never die because they comprise of 25 metal, and turrets are already insanely powerful as it is.
I know balance is coming [insert soon image here] but I think the 25 metal wall is actually here to stay so even then, it'd be insanely difficult without heavy amounts of artillery.

Walls would definitely need to be tweaked – but they need to be tweaked anyways.

It's an excellent concept. Just needs some tweaking to get incorporated. But again. That stuff needs tweaking anyways. 'cause right now some combat fabbers can do that exact thing already.
