Nuclear Missile Takes TOO LONG

    yes red has the most perks out of all the colors. It's neighbors, pink and orange benefit from some of them each.

    I agree, the nukes are pretty fine but the anti nukes are no match, in a 2vs2 you are always better of building a nuke then an anti nuke. Because 2 anti nukes are required to defend against this nuke (unless you spawn together but then the team is most likely behind on eco)
    While nuking the enemy nuke would probably win the game for your team.
    I haven't seen or played any game yet where one could defend against a player dedicated to nuke you to oblivion and it seems to be the current winning strategy unless you are not on orbiting planets.

    While we are at it, make nuke launchers 7 times larger than they are right now and corvette red so your eye is drawn to them.

    I like this idea. It promotes having multiple launchers instead of a mass of fabbers dancing around a single launcher. It also promotes a "cold war" style of play, where you build launchers all over so that your entire arsenal is not in a single location (otherwise it is vulnerable to a single retaliatory nuke).

    This means nuke subs would be useful as well since they could hide easily and develop their nuke in secret. If land nukes can be assisted, then submarine nukes are at a huge disadvantage because assisting them blows their cover (unless there are sub fabbers) and it is significantly more cumbersome to assist them.
