Very simple. Forget about what's promised for 1.0, or what's hard to implement, or what's easy, or what they're working on now/next. Check your rational thinking at the door.

What are you looking forward to being polished/tweaked/balanced/fixed/implemented the most, so you can FINALLY PLAY WITH IT?

    edit: additional ideas
    1 - scale change
    1 - build orders
    2 - ranked ladder
3 - more API (for mods. and towels.)
    1 - commander twerking
1 - metal slider (planet creation)
    1 - destructible terrain
    2 - strategic icon overhaul
    1 - victory conditions / gametypes
    1 - gas giants
    1 - multi-planet starts

no entry for "bug squashing" :(
"scale change" isn't there either. :(

    "obi-wan-kenobi" seems to me like a bad idea and a waste of Uber's time (I know it's a joke ;) )

Build orders like in TA. I want to cancel build orders. I want to reclaim trees. I want to move a build order.

How would reclaiming trees make sense?
    Trees aren't made of metal.

Larger games with more people in them would be what I'd pick.

    But lacking that option, asteroids

Omgosh! yes! I still can't do my Leap motion mod !

they just shunned me away when I asked for leap integration like "make a mod." ...well sure! but at least let me simulate input!

Balanced Economy (so you don't drown in metal most of the time and can have actual gameplay that's about spending your resources efficiently instead of spending them as fast as possible).

Has to be performance improvements for me. There's no point making the most fun game in the world if you alienate a lot of the target audience with unreasonably high system requirements.

Not to say they are currently "unreasonable", but I think the developers would be the first to hold their hand up and say there is a lot of room for improvement in this area.

@thelordofthenoobs Scathis is working on that as we speak, don't wish for guaranteed stuff, that's a waste of perfectly good wishes ^^

*Adjustable Metal Slider (for planet editing)
*Naval Radar (on the ships to utilize their range on naval planets)
    *Multi-unit transport (if it happens)

There are a lot of things I want, and which one comes first really doesn't matter to me so because you can only choose 1 answer O want for the most obvious one: Who doesn't want Obi Wan Kenobi.

Read as "Commander Twerking" and promptly voted for it.

    I regret nothing.

    hmmmm....

that said I do agree optimisation is my favorite uncontested out of that list, that's why I suggested "bug squashing".

but in all honesty these are the game lineage which have the responsibility of pushing technology foward and pushing our machines to the knees,

this is what make them stand out and be remembered so. In the future people will look back and say : "wow. PA really was ahead of it's time"

this is the point when you're constantly pushing the frontier of how many units you can simulate projectiles for in real time.
