The other player seemed resigned to the fact that the game was going to drag on forever, despite the fact that you could have probably finished before or near the one hour mark. It's annoying that people just assume it's going to take forever...

it's a StarCraft thing.

Please don't assume all Starcraft players are Idra. Also, you might want to google "fantasy gg timing".

That said, you might find this video amusing:

I'm not assuming anything about the players. Starcraft plays so quickly that you cannot use more than two to three strategies per game. Your opponent only has to counter those one or two things to completely shut you down.

PA is different because it develops over time. There are multiple options at all points of the game (with the exception of halleys).
