Release Price + Multiplayer Questions

Yes with a retail box there is a hard date and hopefully this was an error. There also three major features missing from the game which are galactic war, gas giants, and the unit cannon. Knowing Uber they can most likely finish it before it has to be sent to manufacture. Personally I do not consider the game feature complete until those three are in PA. Also all the polish and optimizations would have to be done before that.

This is Amazon, keep in mind. No online store is as infamous for having false release dates posted as they are.


At the rate that the Uber devs have been working though, I wouldn't be surprised if all of the above features were in before that date.

Even if the game goes gold in an incomplete state, they can still release patches to fix missing stuff. What person with a PC capable of running PA would lack the internet connection to download a single day 1 patch, after all?

game is fun enough in itself prerelease.

it should require ubernet to use online. However, direct connect and offline should be doable. Just ubernet tracks your online account, that has pros and cons but its not DRM since you can opt to manually play.

release should have serverside and thing should be pretty cool and smooth to play compared to now.

it should only get better as release comes, the game will be playable and they can get back to smoothing edges and adding units and features.

I don't really know why the release date matters that much. I mean if uber plan to keep working on the game even after release, which they do, I see no problems. Lol the only thing I see coming out of release is more players , just do what you think is best uber and take your time .

But we don't know where that site got it's data so I'm not really sure if they're trustworthy.
