Seriously though, The recent news out of Uber has everyone either neutral or mad. No one is happy about the recent announcements. I think there is a lot they could have done to be clearer and give more information in a better way in order to soften the blow of this news. It shouldn't have trickled out as a secret we pried from them, it should have been an honest up-front announcement with some reasoning we could get behind.

The biggest fail from Uber this week was a PR 1.

I was going to write a long constructive post, then I gave up.
I'm a fan of Uber, and what they've done thus far, and I accept that features will take a while to be implemented, even after release. The games not finished and nothing is set in stone.
If you have an Uber employee browsing the forums and replying to all these posts, then that's an Uber employee not doing something more useful like programming the unit cannon that everyone wants.

Gosh, it must be more stressful designing a game when you have a bunch of people ranting on the forum on how ***** the game is whilst it's still being designed than not letting anyone play alpha/beta.

I feel the need to add that the game is very much playable (when polished)
You can invade interplanetary, just halley up your planet, build a few hundred nukes, and set a' course to attack THAT planet!
Proceed to create a little spot to land in using the mass of nukes and either teleport your units/land them with an orbital strike force.

On a different note: Why is this cesspit allowed to fester on while the last one was not? Because it festers on topic?

and the unfinished biomes and the broken Planet system where there is no real good way to invade a turtled planet

or the unfinished seriously bad lava planets

the experimental planets that can't be loaded and everyone just can dream about 5000+ planets bicous it eats everyones PC ( not optimazed )

if it goes to live like this it wont end well

and i dont see them addressing all these under a few months
