    As the title says.

Fresh install of the game from steam and whenever I get into the game, it runs fine at 60FPS until I touch my mouse. Moving the mouse pointer around freezes the graphics but stuff still seems to happen in the back ground. Also, if I build a building the FPS drops to 20 but on moving the mouse and freezing the graphics, they go back to 60FPS. Changing graphics settings and disabling steam overlay made no difference.

    My system is...

    Win8.1 x64
    i7 4770k @4.5Ghz
    16GB RAM
AMD 7990 Graphics card with catalyst 14.2 drivers
    Virgin Media 120Mbps Cable Internet
TP-Link TL-WDN4800 450MBps WiFi with good signal strength (5 bars in windows)

I've put a video below so you can see what I'm talking about.

    (1080p on youtube)

Anyone got any ideas how to smooth it out?

    Cheers :)

Well it could be ur wifi, this game really need a stabel connection to the internet. And try to play the game without steam, this can help in some cases. https://store.uberent.com/download/pa

You're playing it over WiFi and as a result information is being lost. You can tell this by units jumping around. I highly suggest you play it through a wired connection to your router.;)

Did you set any non-standard options in Catalyst Control Center?
I recommend you try to go there and try to run game with different values of "Wait for vertical refresh" option.

    It's can't cause FPS loss.

Tried 14.2 and 13.12 with various V-sync and crossfire settings and no change. I might leave it for a while and see if an update fixes anything. Cheers everyone

I've fixed my issue. I had set Rivatuner Statistics Server (RTSS.exe) to limit the framerate of 3d programs to 60fps to reduce power usage and screen tearing. Once I disabled this, the game ran fine. I probably should have checked that sooner. Sorry everyone!
