This right here says to me that you are running this on a TERRIBLE computer and or a toaster. My friend also has this game and runs it on a system with integrated AMD graphics and 8 gigs of RAM. He plays at medium settings and it runs fine even on larger games. Plus, the game is not optimized yet and SupCom never had to handle multiple battles over several planets.

Not playing PA anymore and ever again if most of these things don't change: Already implemented or In Progress

On second thought Martenus, bring the popcorn, watch the show.
If you love broken game mechanics and want devs to become broke making stuff that they lack the money for, go ahead and only play games with them. Just don't impose that onto the rest of us.

you want them changed to what? That's a very vague statement, considering you haven't given examples.

You sound like the most butt-hurt gamer in history.

The reason it's so expensive is so that (in theory) the only people who buy it are the people who want to support the game and its devs and supply useful bug information. Evidently that plan didn't work out too well.

My PC specs are pretty basic, and I don't lag at max graphics settings. Also, the game is still in beta, give them a break, it'll run way smoother on release.

I thought gamma was like a sub-phase of the beta? Don't mind me, I'm stupid.

The OP logged off after his last post BTW. Probably won't ever see him again. It's a behavior common with these unreasonable types of people.

Some of your suggestions are basically "improve performance", which I'm sure will happen, as it has been happening progressively over time. While some of your other suggestions are confirmed and some are even far in the works (share resources is already implemented to some extent, dynamic alliances is probably coming soon, AI will have different personalities, there will be different game modes, etc.), not all of them are so reasonable.
Adding shields is not 'pretty basic', it's a feature the team is against because they believe gameplay will be better without it. 'spaceships' are not what the game is about, and interplanetary combat will not be about spaceship battles. Interplanetary teleporters are well balanced for both T1 and T2 and probably don't need to be specialized, commander/factory/unit upgrades aren't planned because the team doesn't believe the game would benefit from them (last I heard), etc.

A lot of what you said is your opinion, and may not make a better game.

No, not only my opinion but i am confident that all these changes(except the infantry squad) will definately make a better game out of this. Like I wrote infantry would be more realistic if it was added but it's not needed. All other things are needed to make this game differ from other games and be a better and newer kind of game. And the shields are... not that stong in Supreme Commander and those only cover a specific range(T1 to T3 have different ranges) and the Tier 1 shields hold nearly nothing back while Tier 3 shield can take 1-2 nukes which doesn't make the game for anyone to be lost in a row.

No, your suggestions make PA a Supcom clone.

Shields are fine on their own, but when you stack them they get ridiculous. They don't really change the game other than that.

...But a lot of those mechanics are pulled directly from other games. That's not going to make PA differ from other games, and they aren't objectively good ideas.

I would also suggest looking into the confirmed feature list again, and looking at the features there. Gas planets, interplanetary unit cannons, deathstar lasers, etc. There's quite a bit of content yet to be added which will make the game more interesting.

You obviously didn't do any research into what the gameplay is like or what the devs are aiming for, it's your own fault for buying a game you'd have known you wouldn't have liked had you bothered to look into it beforehand. Making demands about what 'needs' to change is only going to piss people off, and frankly you sound pretty arrogant, like your opinion is fact. Maybe try to be more friendly and open next time you have criticisms.

A squad usually consists of 14 soldiers AT MOST. Why you think this is needed in a game where battles are usually between hundreds of units I'll never know.
