Ha, I saw someone else using imgur albums here, so I started using it too. It's super convenient, and it is way nicer than just posting the images to the forum ;)

Here's my system: Diversity, 3 planets, 4 moons it uses all the planet types and only 2 planets aren't smashable/movable. This systems would be good for 2 or more teams. This system is balanced around a single planet spawn on planet Paradajs. The player then has 3 options when going orbital:
    1. Either commandeer the nearby moon and attempt to fight for and win the starting planet. Smashing is also an option, but then you deprive yourself of a carrier body.
    2. Go for the planet closer to the sun. The travel time is shorter and you get a planet and a moon both are smashable.
    3. You go for the outermost system and you get the largest planet in the system and two moons, both are easily smashable.

    TL;DR:
    • Land, naval, air, orbital, everything!
    • 30 - 60 mins. game time; different game styles may totally change game time!
    • interesting tropical planet with narrow land masses and a lot of ocean
    • launchable asteroid
I playtested it and I really enjoyed the map. Perfect mix of land, naval and air.

Big system for good interplanetary cat and mouse games..
This system contains the best "Earth and Desert" biome seed's i have found so far,
Both are small and good for many varying strategies.

That must be it. Your metal planets are mostly always named Dyson Sphere I believe. How about star wars, are they always named Death Star I and II, or IV and V?

Lol, I still like your work.

Tarlasia: Just a straight forward system. An interesting main earthly planet, Tarla, with extending polar caps that create a strip of normal terrain along the equator. Tarla is quite large. The focus being largely on aggression of the main planet and establishing your ever expanding base. With plenty of land and 2 major naval ponds the entire army composition should be utilized on this planet. Eventually once the game has progressed enough securing one of the two orbital expansions should be of priority. Both of these are small and act as tiny resource gens and more importantly Halley missiles.

Tarlasia is a nice looking, basic 1 planet/ 2 satellite system that calls for straight forward gameplay, with the off chance of one player committing orbital suicide if the game starts to stalemate. (Also another tropical large planet could be added if the orbital suicide mechanic isn't desired)

See https://forums.uberent.com/threads/...ert-your-system-here.57546/page-4#post-896288 for an edited version of this system.

You start on a small 500 Moon orbiting a large 1000 Earth. Rush orbital to access large amount of resources on the main planet.

Wilderness has a very large closed sea.

Intended number of players: 2 (1v1) 4, 6, 8 (Team games)(The more crowded the starting planet is is, the better)
    System Name: Space Race
    Planet 1: Name: Civilization

    Planet 1: Radius: 1000
    Planet 1: WaterHeight: 44
    Planet 1: Temperature: 45
    Planet 1: Biome: Earth

This setup is actually broken ( FS#3232 ) but is totally different from everything we saw to date so it could be worth a try.
Also, i can't give the moon less metal than the large planetso it kind of defeats the point of this system idea.
    Need metal density slideer

This is why I will be controlling height range. This height range causes a lot of aiming issues, pathing issues, and generally looks ugly.

Height ranges will generally fall between 10 and 25.

Well, what ever works, i just have it set like this when i play, but if it causes issues, fair enough. he only issues in the specific instance are the usual small planet bugs you get, where artillery just cannot reach its maximum range.

Does this apply to larger planets as well? I didn't think 70 was too drastic a height range for my main planet, and it makes the actual boundaries around shorelines more obvious and less 'noisy'.

If 25 is the max limit, I'd have to change my suggested settings to compensate. The water height required to get functional bottlenecks on my main planet changes from 50.7 to 51.7 (if the height range is changed from 70 to 25). If the water height is kept at 50.7, all of the bottlenecks turn into land-bridges, which would have a major impact on gameplay.
Mex points also change, the canyon at the south pole changes and two more canyons are added at the north pole, all by raising the water height by 1.

So while I understand why you want to be in charge of height range, I think it would be a good idea to ask us to limit height ranges from 10-25 instead (to make sure that other terrain features that make a planet interesting aren't broken).

Although the Bastion system may not look like much at first glance, it is located in area that makes it an ideal staging point for the invasion of several other important systems. Commanders will have to fight fiercely for control of this rocky planet.

So yeah, a single planet system. With no other planets to flee to or smash together, players will be forced to kill each other off the traditional way. Matches will probably be relatively short since you can't evacuate your commander to another planet. The many mountains creates natural defenses and and choke points for players to utilize. I tried it out in a 6 player FFA and got a very fun match.

Intended number of players: <5-8 FFA>
    System Name: <Bastion>
    Planet 1: Name: <Bastion>
    Planet 1: Mass: <10000>

I plan on submitting more systems but I have a quick question. Do moons (planets that orbit other planets) need to have ''Moon'' Biome or can they have any biome as long as they have a radius larger than 200?

I think you can use any biome you want, look at the systems that are already in the game, they got other biomes too.

This feature is already in the game. (its in the planet positioning menu in system editor. I think it would be better in the planet editor menu. in the system editor)

I have been playing on my map (600 Radius earth) and having 6 players seems rather small for such a large planet. I think having more then 6 players would need at minimum 700 radius or more to give good space for each player to engage.

His post was made before the feature was added to the live build. I also agree that it should be in the planet editor menu though.
