Hi guys, I have just one problem with this game and that is that I can not seem to get the game to run in true full screen. When selecting full screen in the game options or when I use alt+enter to switch to full screen I always keep a application bar at the top of the screen and those grey window lines on the sides and bottom of the screen. I read in the sticky that PA uses the native desktop resolution but somehow the game does not detect this the right way. Is there anyway that I can solve this problem other then trying lower resolutions in Windows itself? I tried looking for a settings file where I could change some value like "force full screen" but the only default.settings file I found does not have many options in it. Any ideas how I can solve this? Cypher
This game is not support modal fullscreen and as long as I know developers don't have any plans to support it. It's looks like some weird bug. As long as I remember there was few other players with same problem. Can you please upload your DxDiag.txt here?
Ok here's some more information: the jpg shows what my screen looks like when I run the game in full screen. The blue bar and grey lines should not be there. My desktop resolution is 1920x1080 When I change my desktop resolution to 800x600 for example the game does open in full screen without the blue bar. dxdiag attached Edit: btw i am using the most recent drivers for my graphics card
Yep that is it. The game does not like it when Aero is turned off... Thanks for the tip but it should run fine without Aero I think so it is a bug?
No idea, please post new task on bugtracker: http://pa.lennardf1989.com/Tracker/index.php Then it's will be easier to track why is this happen and if this can be fixed.
