We have a fix coming.. multi-player games might be difficult for a bit. And that fix listed above should work for everyone, as long as you don't let it patch.
That's very weird. I have no steam version handy though. But the bug is pretty internal to PA, steam should have no effects on it.
Disable mods. We're working on a hotfix build. I'm seeing how quickly we can get this new build ready, rather than roll back to the older build.
TEMPORARILY ROLLED BACK TO OLD BUILD; We'll reactivate the new build when we fix the server browser problem we're encountering.
Glad you guys are jumping on this ASAP! Live streaming right now with GME and we had multiple confirms on this, and tried it out ourselves, watching Deadly play AI right now while we wait on that patch!
Well, I guess I won't post my hotfix mod around Coca_Colin's patch then. ;^) p.s. have you considered a system to ship internal mods for quick fixes like this?
Yes, roll back the build and fix it right. The problem with "patching" a build is it leads to messy servers that things get messed up in. If we require that every time we push a build, it's a brand new, sparkling clean build, we keep ourselves honest. It takes a bit longer, but it helps to make sure we never get sloppy about pushing new builds.
Generally, that's our goal. It's already 3:30 in the afternoon though, and we'll need to do some additional tests on this to try and make sure it doesn't just break differently.
showing "new build available 62350" when I launch the linux build, looks like server hasn't been correctly updated to sync with the new build. That is with version 62409 installed.
