Why don't we have the options for pink unicorns to be racing around lava planets too please... and I'm gonna need some tree models so I can spin them round the moon too. Ta.

you could have a solar system where the sun has burnt-out

Maybe all the planets would orbit a gas giant instead of a sun like a Saturn and its many moons that somehow went rogue :D

Haha, quote me next time so I know that I was responded to. A few things: 1) if you are going to call me out, be sure that you are right. Radar IS light as someone else has linked to. Radar has NOTHING to do with sound; that is sonar.
    2) My boundary for critical thinking is at least not created by false information like yours is.

@onyxia2 As for rogue planets orbiting a gas giant... do you know the probability of this happening? I would imagine that life is more common in the universe than this situation.

Correction, radar is neither light nor sound. It's microwaves. "Lidar" is done with light
    thanks for the read

Dude... light is electromagnetic radiation (this definition doesn't hold so well inside a plasma, but for all intents and purposes here, it works). Radar, microwaves, infra-red, visible-light, UV, X-rays, and gamma rays are ALL light. All of them. They each represent a specific section of the spectrum of light.
Here is an image of all the different classes of LIGHT:

Notice radar is there. Radar is light.

So, again, if you are going to correct me, please make sure that you are right.

Besides rouge planets with lots of moons, very probably not. Systems form when large clouds of gas coalesce, when the gas attains a high enough mass, it turns into a star. Any leftover debris in orbit eventually form planets, with gas giants forming further out because all the lighter elements are blown further back when the star forms. Also, have this:

When stars run out of fuel, bad things happen. So no.

Dangit you beat me to it.

read a physics book, pikachu, or go to school. things like that (and their effects) are taught there...

what the duck are people here talking about anyways? geo-central solar systems...radar is light?
seriously do some homework and watch less TV.
somes people really seem to chat for the sake of chatting only...

...did anything happen? where's the sun...?
