Fix the move planet button, which also allows the entire planet list to render in some situations. Note there are still other bugs with celestial movement, such as losing the economy bar. Caution: I haven't tested the actual mod because it takes so long to build three halleys and the economy to support them. Details: the Change Orbit button was supposed to call a method named ".movePlanet(id)", but the function name was missing and we got the illegal syntax ".(id)"
AWESOME! uhh ^^ pardon... what does it do? Moving planets is actually implemented but it was only the button that was broken????
That's my take. I added a short description of the change, and updated the version change canery to 62350
SH IT! simulation ended but I was about to record it. The moon had it's engines on and it had an orbit of ridiculous speed. it hadn't changed orbitee but it was just spinning around it's orbitee like crazy it was hilarious!
Okay, so maybe it is buggy. I was able to fly a planet back and forth in an Instant Sandbox game, so I considered it good enough to share. I don't believe the engines shut off, so that may be one of the issues.
no I think the "changing to another orbit" part not being there at all in the code is the real issue. currently you can just make the planet spin. which I think is simply a consequence of being able to give the planet momentum but the orbit being unbreakable. and can't you spawn multiple planets in sandbox?
Opps, you're right. I could have edited defaults, but I went through the normal lobby now that we have sandbox ai back.
