This is in the bug tracker as FS#2921 and is still an issue in gamma. The task on the tracker sums it up pretty well

During a naval game I had noticed that the model for the Tech 2 boat, the leviathan became completely invisible but still selectable and able to use. I later noticed that units in production looked like the Leviathan in production on the factory. However when zooming in and out it went in and out of the model for the leviathan and the model of the unit actually in production. This also occur for active units which look like the built leviathan and destroyed units which look like the destroyed leviathan, it even occurs for orbital units. This only seems to happen once someone in game has made or is making a leviathan, otherwise it doesn’t occur.

Kind of annoying(but not a finished game, ik)

    DxDiag below
Even though my drivers are from 2011(?) they are the most recent that I can get. If I install beta drivers than I just get BSOD's constantly when doing regular stuff or the catalyst control center doesn't see my card(I'm not quite sure it sees it right now either) and according to windows I have the latest drivers and the AMD auto detect utility they cannot install drivers(Or detect them) because I have a notebook made by HP.

If anyone has a HP Pavilion DV7 Notebook PC and knows how to get drivers post below so I know and the rest of the community knows.

    Stay awesome Uber!

Here is some receipt for installing new drivers:
1 - Remove both AMD and Intel drivers though Control Panel and standard "Uninstall a Program".
2 - Go to "Device Manager", check "Display adapters", right click on your "Radeon HD 6490M" and use "Uninstall".
    3 - Restart your laptop.
4 - Install latest Intel HD3000 drivers, download and install "Win64_152820.exe" from Intel website: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23377
5 - Install AMD drivers using one of methods explained there:

I recommend to go "Non-official" and just get latest beta drivers using my link.

In process ignore all BSODs and random restarts and then when you done this that should work.

I will do that but first, is there a way to backup my drivers. I have am at a "decent" place with my drivers ATM(They work, thats better than most situations I am in) so just incase this doesn't go well I would like to back them up. Do you know of any free tools to do this with?

If you don't have driver installers I don't think it's possible.
AMD drivers update will always surprise you. :D:mad:

Seams like it. Very weird I really have no idea how a driver could miss place so many bits of data for everything just because it was old. Maybe they were using some new instancing feature or something.

Actually problem with Leviathan are extremely old. I just never able to reproduce it so I wounder if this related to old drivers. Please if you notice it's happen with new drivers post about that on bugtracker. ;)

PS: Also I doubt there is instancing for units at moment.
