The music

Now none of you probably know me, i'm an avid sup com player that used to play casual TA. I've personally been disappointed in PA, but I must say that the music is turning out to be exceptional. I originally didn't like the PA music, but I was watching this game from zaphod and really enjoyed the soundtrack, very reminiscent of TA, but with its own style. I'm not sure if the music is new with the the gamma stage, but it definitely is spectacular and just wanted to say well done.

The music is by Howard Mostron also worked on supreme commander 2, demigod, Super Monday Night Combat and now planetary annihilation. Up until Gamma came out it was synthesized. He did a really amazing job on the orchestral score.

I think there are also additional tracks now in the game, at the very least there's been some pieces I don't recognise.

Yeah the music is new with the Gamma build, and there is about an hour and a half worth of music. It's really good.

If you bought the game, you will get the soundtrack download too. They just haven't released it yet.

Hey I know you! I watch Gyle's casts and that name is familiar! TA_Aulex! Anyway, the music IS absolutely amazing, I definitely agree.

Down with vendor lock-in. Down with iTunes....... dammit all me games are on steam.

iTunes is a damn ripoff is what it is, I'm pretty sure you get better quality in-game even compressed by fmod. CD, FLAC or bust.

I have never made a purchase on iTunes. Amazon sells mp3s!

I don't even know how this iTunes thing looks like.
Also if you want to play @bmb found a player that can playback the ingame music. It needs a little copy and paste stuff and so. So to save you the trouble of downloading stuff here's a packed version of the working player:

You need java installed for it, then just start the exe inside, select the files in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Planetary Annihilation\PA\media\pa\audio
and play them.

That program can also extract the files and save them so that you can use any media player.

The music is copyrighted, so DO NOT share it with anyone that doesn't own the game and don't upload it to any sharing sites.

How is the convert supposed to work? It says use the bat, but that just opens the player for me.

I don't care what platform it gets released on, and I don't have the game, but I collect good game soundtracks and anticipate the ost more than the games

I used to run the TEA clan, I was TEA_Aulex but me and nombringer disbanded it due to everyone dissapearing, hehe that was the time when I tried to take the u1700 title from zaphod like 4-5 times, was always too close.
