I just bought and Installed the game today, I can't play it because I'll either experience a PA.exe crash on login or when I load into a game after a Couple seconds. Can anyone help me, I've tried all the suggested fixes and nothing, I'm starting to feel like I wasted 30 dollars.

Hi the game also keep crashing for me everytime i try to enter a game. I have just updated my drivers from the AMD website but still having the same problem, please find the dxdiag enclosed. plus i also have to run it in windowed mode to be able to see the mouse cursor?
Are you running game though Steam? If yes please check non-Steam version: https://store.uberent.com/Download/Install?titleId=4 Yes, there is some bug in AMD vista and legacy drivers: PA#2098 If you upgrade to Windows 7 it's will work fine.

I'm Having the same Problem When I start a Multiplayer game it generates the Solar System the it says PA.exe has stopped working If anyone can help with that I would be greatful as PA is one of my favourite games and I cant play it.

Alrighty then... my issue is that when I start the game it immediately crashes saying pa.exe has stopped working. As far as I know I have my drivers updated and tried to do so anyway just in case, I have tried to load it in admin mode in the main folder the bin.x86 and the bin.x64. I have downloaded razor game booster cause I hear it would help(it didn't), I have reset my steam and my comp to see if that fixes it cause 90% of most problems seem to be fixed that way (no dice there either). I bought it through steam and have seen the suggestion to try running the non steam version but it seems to want me to buy it again through the site which I would really like to avoid having to do. If there is some way to get the key from my purchase on steam if there is one or some way t prove to the site I bought it already that would be nice. as it is on steam I don't think I can find the other requested file though here is my dxdiag file.

Tried to fix this with the 4gb Patch for the PA.exe. doesnt work. I played this game often in Alpha ... Can i play Planetary Annihilation with my currently System? I have to buy the 64bit System i think, right? Animac
You need also apply 3GB switch on your OS. Also don't forget: you need to patch PA.exe again after each update. You can play without patches if you'll use extremely small planets. As long as I know if you have Windows 7 license key it's valid for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. So if you get proper installation media you can to install 64-bit version of Windows 7 and activate it by your current key.
You guys all post in same topic and it's pretty hard to answer and try what I checked and what's not. Though I'll check your system information soon.
