Okay now I'm not sure if this has been posted a million times but I'm sorry.. the last update is so nice yet it seems to have hardcore broken the game. My main view refuses to load most of the time most probably because the planets arn't loaded in the lobby anymore (Why?...) ironically the minimap works while the main doesn't. Some of the ui seems to be extremely buggy such as the fact I was having trouble selecting the build icon for the air and vehicle factory last game and the lobby sometimes flashes. (Both of these happening on and off) The game feels extremely broken after this update.. Has ANYONE else experienced these problems?... So what I'd really like to see.. re-looked at.. I'd like the planet to load in the lobby once again, that was extremely helpful why take that away? I'd like team secondary colors back.. Somethings up with the UI ;o; I also miss the economy scaling you could do for the AI, I had really hoped that would be a full feature and players could do that too.

Uber implemented new lobby UI where you can change solar system on the fly so they removed that temporary to avoid issues. They want to bring it back after they'll be sure it's working properly with new lobby.
Also can you please say you still running PA on Intel HD4000 or you have some different hardware now?
I actually run this on Intel HD3000 the game runs perfectly fine, sublime fps actually and yes the planet does show up when I press f5 but I really don't think I should have to... I know it's a little gripe but it really really sets me behind the other players. Needed to reload everything including loading the planet before a match starts means the game starts before I'm even ready. Edit: I actually get great fps with UBER settings on. The update before last I beleive gave a huge fps boost, I was getting what fps on uber graphics I'd get on lowest graphics. This last update however seems to have just.. broken a lot of the UI or something...
they took it away because they enjoy our suffering. actually, read forums more. They stated the game accidentally broke planet preload. Sometimes new things break old things and need fixed together. It actually is a fair bother for everyone but its beta and thus understandable.
You might try the no more black screens mod. Its designed to fix this problem with other mods but it may help if you don't have any mods installed. Its in the PA Mod Manager which you can get here.
I had this problem too. I installed some of my mods back after the first time I tried the new update, and the ui loaded, but the planets didn't. I tried the no black screens mod ant that fixed it for me.
Yeah completely understandable! It is Be- Gamma! Sorry for not doing my research I had finally gotten on for the first time in a few days, wanted to check out the new update, and when I tried to play one.. the fact the planet loaded during game time, all the ui issues, etc.. I just got a little annoyed- took it out on the forums!
It is Be- Gam-... Whatever. Your minimap is another man's multiwindow and it's my PRISM because I am tired of arguing terminology.
