The Game is so AWESOME!!

Uber you are doing a fine job. Keep at it! I love this game to bits. I was thinking the forum was feeling a little bit unbalanced today with a load of bitching and moaning threads about the unfinished game being... unfinished so this post is just trying to tip the scales in the other direction and keep morale high!

I love this game too, every update just fills me with joy!
Re: the "moaning" threads, I think is natural with a sudden influx of new players, or people returning to it after a few months and expecting certain things that may or may not be in. Remember, every new PA player is good for Uber, so be nice to these "moaners" and try to convince them that it is worth waiting it out for the finished game. There's a lot to love, so try to tell them so!

What you've got to bear in mind is that most of the kickstarter backers and early alpha players are somewhat more tolerant and patient than people who've just joined the game.

We've seen the game progress and grow, we've seen uber tireless work on new features and better UI's. We know what we can expect, and how quickly we can expect it.

For a lot of new players this is not the case.

I am currently listening to the soundtrack and watching that cat's sword bounce to the beat of the music.

Yeah I do understand Like I say, I was just giving the devs a boost thats all. I know how hard it is sometimes trying to please all the people all the time.

AGREED. I have seen a larger amount of *I'm disappointed" threads. Its good to see a thread showing the opinion of most people.

It seams like most of the negative threads are made by fairly new users who might have just bought the game and haven't fully figured out its awesomeness.

which is why we should respectively tell them how they are wrong Give them examples of how the game is awesome and ask them to show a little patience to fully appreciate the AWESOME(TM).

I would "bump" this thread, but @garat told me i was grounded. yes the game is getting better and better, full release will be epic.

Yeah I see a lot of new users rolling in and complaining.

Playing on a patch day that introduces new content is begging to be plagued with bugs tbf, even with a good QA process it happens.

Keep up the good work Uber. Once the hotfixes begin dropping all the complaining will vanish.

Yeh, it was painful watching a livestream yesterday where the guy had real trouble getting the game to start properly (generating planets FFUUUUUUUUUUUU) and having people join. Plus he didn't really know what he was doing in terms of system generation, and despite my best efforts to help, didn't make a system with any smashable planets . He said the game had potential and he would play again, so I just hope that some fixes get made ASAP to the lobbies so that people aren't put off prematurely....
Also, he seemed to get annihilated really quickly in a FFA match ( I think) where it looked like he got nuked after about 5 minutes, and with only 1 nuke. Anyone know what this may have been, as I've never seen someone get beaten like that so quickly. It made me sad to think that the experience may put him off!

Its because disappointed or whiny people are usually louder that those pleased they keep playing game instead of posting on forum. As long as people are posting and complaining in your forum everything is good, start worrying when there is silence, usually it does not mean that game is perfect.

I have played since alpha, and personally I never played TA but I really enjoyed SupCom2. I am really big into RTS and I think that Uber is doing a wonderful job.

I remember seeing threads of how to fix an planet turtle or make orbital invasion more effective. Alot of people were saying that a teleporter would be nice. And.... BAM, teleporter. Uber is listening to people and they are making this a game a game made by the players. Gone are the days where people can make a RTS and have their play-testers play it. Uber is in the 21st century and they are making one of the best RTS's I have ever seen.

I do agree that T2 air is OP and I think nukes are stupid right now, I also am annoyed about the missed due date. However I am patient and like a wise fish once said "just keep swimming". This game will be done when Uber feels like it is done, and if I don't agree with their decision then I will start complaining. But so far there has not been a single update yet where I think "this game just got stupid".

I want Galactic Warfare really badly though
