after there update, I'm still having the black screen when i get into game, i can see resources at the top but every thing else is black, no planet, no units, sound works fine. I have even changed the settings to low mid, high, no change. So in my mind something in the last update does not like my system...... everything before yesterdays update ran on uber settings just fine..

    Can you make screenshot please?

Did you wait for planet generation indicator turns green before you click "ready"?

In previous message you said that you see resource bar. Am I missing something?

First make sure you have all Windows updates installed. Possible current SSL certificate using some root certificate that missing in your system, then Windows update should fix that.

If this won't help check my signature and upload your DxDiag.txt

    I guess problem is this:
    Code:
Time of this report: 2/22/2014, 03:50:37
You have invalid time in your system so SSL certificate looks invalid because it's only valid from 2/27/2014.

You need to synchronize time and it's should work fine.

Irritatingly, on the 3rd time I had exited out of game and reloaded, everything worked.

I get the certificate error even after updating the cert file.
    I am on windows 7 64bit.
Do I need to download a new launcher? I was able to play last week. Today is the first time I have tried since gamma rolled out.

update: nevermind. My clock was behind a few days. I set it to the correct date and now the launcher is updating. Thank you, SXX!

    Do this:
    Win key + R
    "cmd" without quotes
in command prompt "ping uberent.com" without quotes

The result should be "Pinging uberent.com [54.241.9.230] with 32 bytes of data:" and 4 request timeouts. Let us know if you get this or something different.
