Server Down

I cant login to uber and pa . Anyone else having this probelm. It says to contact uber support.

Gamma update is tomorrow.

And since mkrater said the team is looking into it, it's probably not the update.

It's interesting that mkrater is almost repeating exactly what he is saying on the other server problem posts.

Heh, well there's not much else I can say. Everyone is getting the same error message. The team is aware of the issue and working to resolve it ASAP. I'll post an update when I know it's been resolved.

I cant wait till the gamma. I hope they have a way to track stats in game instead of pa stats and also It would be nice to be able to put headings on games made in lobby such as 2v2v2 or 3 v 3 or 4 v 4 v 4 etc.

I found some posts on the server being down already. They others are probably just worded differently

Yeah that was unrelated to Gamma and kinda sucked, sorry.

Out of curiosity, what caused it?

It was related to security certificate changes.

Why do three completely different devs / producers have to show up to reassure three people that Gamma is NOT going up today and the server is up again?

Servers worked all the time, but uberent.com get new SSL certificate while PA client had old CA certificate so it's wasn't able to verify it.

You won't find anything. The difference between this build at the last is something like 128 bytes difference. Or 1024. Or some such.

probably why that is like the first patch I've ever done where it didn't want me to verify files after.

I can't play right now knowing there is more awesome coming tomorrow, I want to play more on the more awesome than on the slightly less awesome.

A good programmer can put a lot of characters in 1024 bytes
