We could have might a release on Thursday: Gamma phase?

I'm guessing its all to do with the social aspects of the game, a complete re-design on how the entire UI is to incorporate things such as friends lists (which was mentioned last week) proper clan chats and channels, a total revamp of the entire chat system actually most likely, a lot of stuff to do with the replay system, being able to save locally or share it automatically with youtube/twitch or saved file in some cooperation with our uber accounts or something. More shared features with perhaps more sandbox like features. This sort of stuff is what I'm guessing will be part of the new phase and of course actual game development progress as usual but i'm thinking its these sort of features are the headlines for now.

Oh I have just realized something else is coming for gamma.... Probably means a ranked ladder. Again hope the new launcher allows for multiple build. One for stable, one for balance changes (why not every day?), on for new features and perf improvements. Any way just dreaming....

That assumes Omega is the last "number" we can count to. If we go by Greek numbering Rho is actually 100, and Omega is 800. We can easily count to 801 with Omega Alpha, or 999 with Sampi Koppa Theta. We can keep on counting up and up!

Which of course means just getting to Rho is going to be even worse for my sanity.

At some point it may just be better to drop the greek thing and make up your own testing phases. After Gamma you can do Bacon, then Scathis, and then Histericlese.

Ah nah, it's fine, I wasn't that serious. I'd imagine the terms for hosting on Origin are pretty similar to hosting on Steam. Both will come with charges.
