More on topic, it's very interesting to see how the balance is sitting with each pass. We're getting to see a lot more of the weird balance issues than we'd normally see.

That is an aunt, an ant is a small insect, often with a sting, that usually lives in a complex social colony with one or more breeding queens. It is wingless except for fertile adults, which often form large mating swarms, and is proverbial for industriousness. (thanks google ) hence why that was the original name for t1 tanks because we build them in swarms, which makes them look like ants moving around on the planet's surface.

LOL It's a spoken American english joke. I grew up pronouncing it "aunt", but most of the kids I grew up with used the phonetic "Ant" pronunciation.

And as I gave it the original name, clearly I liked it too for the same reason you gave. But I never felt particularly strongly about the name. Maybe I should have gone with... FIRE ANT.

I would support the move from *gibberish in-game now* to Fire Ant.

1) It's been a problem in game for a wee while now - since t2 fighters were rebalanced so that they were actually worth building compared to t1 fighters.
2) They were balanced so they were OP compared to t1 fighters.
3) Now they've been balanced even more in that regard.

A nerf would delay the t2 air rushes long enough for other strategies to become viable.

There are a ton of things they could change. One of the more drastic things would be to make the missile tower a lot more powerful and then make it advanced for shooting down bombers. Then the flak can be a basic structure. That pretty much eliminates the chance to ever use air for anything besides scouting and killing expansions.
