That's what Garat said in the latest live stream: that the reason they haven't released the build yet is because they've had some performance issues.

Early access that should be expected. It's part of the deal for early access(alpha/beta).

But I don't agree with Uber delaying a build because of tournament.

The Steam version might be different, but I have the standalone one, and if you don't want to update to the new patch, I'm pretty sure you can just skip the validate files stage on the launcher.

Also, agreed: Delaying a patch rollout because someone's having a tournament? Preposterous! What nerve!

Tournaments are secondary to our purpose and ubers. We are hear to help to help them make a better game. They should make decisions purely based off what will help them make the best game. If releasing a patch tonight or tomorrow does that then they should do that. (though I doubt they will patch on a friday). Its really quite silly that we are even talking about delaying a patch because of a tournament. The tournaments really mean little to nothing right now as the game isn't even finished or balanced, they are purely for fun / bragging rights.

If uber releases the patch its up to PACE to compensate and decide to postpone the tournament or play on.
Uber should never do anything like waiting to release because a community tournament. PACE atm is not something that has any right to ask for something as delaying a build. we are community members first, we play the game that we all backed. we are trying to have tournaments in beta, we all know the risk. if it comes down to it I would rather not host a single tournament tell release or later in beta if this becomes a issue that people fight withen the community.

Uber are mugs if they delay a update for some shitty tournament.

why sladder a tournament? if you are just a casual player then just show some respect for your common community members that want to start getting competitive... you don't need to act condescending to a whole section of players and dedicated people that want to make more competitive play.

Cry Cry... what tournament? How can anyone say he play professional on a BETA game? Its all about early game dominance, who can build the most bots and rush the enemy away.... because u start with 20fps and loose every 3 min 1 fps. THAT are not tournament conditions.

I want the Patch asap, the game is in BETA i want to test the new stuff and give feedback, report bugs and so on. I dont want to play professional on a beta, seriously. Start tournaments if the Game is lag free and released.

No one in the competitive area is thinking they are professional. IDK where you heard anyone saying them being a pro. A professional is someone that makes good money or a living off something. I am in the top 10 and I know I am extremely far from the skill cap of the game even at the current state. No one in my mind is even near the level that you could be.

Fu%@k the tournament! But for real: I'm quite sure Uber doesn't care about the tournament either. They care about bringing us a new and stable build that is an improvement over the current one.

They will not be rushed by us or be slowed down by a tournament some guys have arranged!
