Planetary Annihilation Toys?

My name is Voci. I recently bought Planetary Annihilation on steam. I've had my eye on it for awhile! I love RTSs and games of all kind. One thing I love a PA is its art style. The cartoony vibe that it displays is so fitting and really you almost forget that your main goal in the game is destroying orbital systems! *Laughs maniacally* Anyway... I was playing the game and I notice how awesome the designs were for the Commanders, Bot, basically everything. Before buying the game I also watch a couple livestreams and in one of the intros you had a Masterpiece Optimus Prime. I thought "Ok... These guys definitely love toys.. but most of all Robot toys!". How cool would it be to have for very on 6inch/8inch articulated Delta Commander at your desk while playing the game?? I say very cool. If you were to do this it could be similar to the way Kerbal Space Program does their 3d printed Kerbals (KSP has been around for 3 years and the 3d prints are new so this could be awhile). I'd pay 20 - 30 dollars for a articulated Delta Commander action figure! Anyone agree, post your thoughts?

One of the kickstarter rewards was a figurine of some sort. I don't doubt that they'll also sell these via their store at some point, too.

That depends on how their deal with Reaper Miniatures was arranged. The original wording indicates that:

No I don't mean miniatures. I mean actual articulated "figures".

I'm pretty sure I want a Raptor Commander Plushie.

I am in the process of texturing the Beta-Commander model so I can 3D print it. Sort of what your are talking about. I guess you could modify the commander models to make them able to move around, but I don't think you could sell it on shapeways(Or any service like that) because of Uber licensing rights.

talk to a modder and see if you can bring the 3d models from the game into 3d studio max. Break the model apart into pieces so that you can reassemble them in such a way as to allow parts to move (you know how action figure arms have that sort of socket at the end that goes inside the chest). From there, export to .STL file and upload to shapeways. Then have them 3D print you the model pieces (in Gold if you want) and then assemble them when they arrive.

My request is located in the last page of the fan art thread. Lego based PA would be on my want to buy list.

There should be a K-NEX or lego version of a delta commander. shoots a blue uber cannon projectile.

I'd love to get my hands on a plushie commander myself also.. but yes their for the kickstarters only unfortunately but it is fair too ppl who did the kickstarter deserve something a little extra but yeah would be nice to get hold of some other PA toys or plushies though
