Casters are more or less live commentators. Think of the sports casters, their the ones commentating on live action, as opposed to Commentators who usually watch a video and make comments.

As the tournament director I have no favorites. As a high level player I'm betting nephylim and nebulafox. Unknown teams are the best

The Tourney has finished with Clopse and Darklighter taking the 1st Place with a 5-0 proformance.

Thanks for taking the time and effort to setup this tournament! I had a lot of fun (even if 7 hrs straight of playing and watching PA is a bit grueling). There was a little confusion on just what Swiss Style entailed, but I think we get it now. And I felt that you and everyone who helped you did a good job adapting to some unforeseen complications; I'm sure ya'll will only get better from here. Thanks again, and looking forward to future events!

Lessons learned in this tourney:

1. Have back up OTs and casters. Losing 1 is bad, 2 horrid.

2. Set up rounds before people play. Everyone knows who to fight, and where to be.

3. Large systems = long games. 20-30min Alright, 40-60min not so much.

4. FFA is a horrible idea for a Semi-final. Lag+Lag+gang up.

5. Explain odd style tourneys before hand so people have some sort of clue and don't freak out. See --> Clopse in IRC.

6. Have more reservists so that incase someone drops we have a replacement.

7. Meta lives on the 31st floor.

Although I wasn't there for the tournament itself, I think I've managed to verse myself fairly well in what happened over the evening. Oath's got it pretty much nailed down - one thing I would add is that for anyone who is still confused over what a Swiss-style tournament entails, @martenus has written a fantastic description here.
