    The last option is in negative, just let solo comm armys die almost instantly like it is now. This is a repost of my previous threat becouse i broke the poll system on that one:
    in the story, only the faction leaders were able to reactivate by themselves, the rest of the commanders had to be repaired from their broken bodys.
    I think its a good idea to inplement that into the game, so you can reactivate the lifeless corpse of a exploded commander so that when you lost a commander in multicommander battle, you have to recapture and repair it on that spot, or when your too late, your enemy might have already reclaimed it, this would be handy if your commander got nuked, or the commander blast wiped out the remaining enemies or something. i always thought those dead commanders could have been used for more then only scrap, theres good balancing options too, you can make it that enemies can capture it, or that there is a panelty of getting it destroyed, weakening its maximum potential evry time it "dies"

    in sologames, it would be cool if it took alot longer for your army to die out, instead, giving you more time to get your commander bevore your whole empire dies, so, when the commander dies when its the only one, it would still be a massive blow to your army, economy etc still making it importand to secure the commander edit: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/reactivating-commanders-second-poll.55945/ for new poll still welcome to vote here

    well, that went better then expected, at least i now know for sure people generally don't like the idea ;) i'l let it go for a while and see if the tables turn

    The whole endgame is to blow up commanders. This could be an interesting mechanic but I think matches would get dragged on to long(+com bombing would be a regular thing)

    I'm hoping sub-commanders make it in at some point and that losing all your commanders AND sub-commanders eliminates you. That or I'll be playing supremacy mode, as I currently do in FA

    I heard multiple times they wont add sup comms, however not onace from a official dev so there might be hope :p also the poll proofed pretty helpfull now we know lots of people rather not have it as default on pa shame it aint easy to add the yes, but optional option to the poll without resetting it

    Personally (of course) I see the Commander unit as I see the King in the game of Chess. Plus I see Planetary Annihilation as a serious game, with the potential to become a digital sport. And I feel that the two things are deeply connected.

    So, for what does it really matter, my vote goes for a neat no :)

    I wouldn't mind the option for annihilation as a game end trigger, rather than a commander death. I think the commander death needs to be the default trigger, but I can see the benefit in having an option for an alternative ending trigger.

    Giving teammates a certain amount of time to reactivate isn't a horrible idea. Getting commander sniped would be more of a "check" than a "checkmate" in a multiplayer game. It would force snipers to be able to follow up a snipe with a show of force over time. Similar mechanics exist in Borderlands and Guild Wars 2.

    I wouldn't mind seeing it as a mod, but it doesn't need to be in the main game.

    Thats exactly what I think. I believe one of the staff said something similar to that in response to this kind of question.

    Side note:
    Has anyone taken down a commander with just fabbers? I think it would pretty funny.

    Yeah. That didn't quite make sense to me.

    The moderator message (didn't name which mod) said something about it not being relevant or something...

    I thought it was perfectly fitting due to the poll, and based on the number of likes it got, I'm not the only one. :-/

    How about just make it optional, like supremecy in supreme commander? and I kinda did that side note, like 4 times or something, mostly when enemy commander touches my moons and i got a army of fabbers building hallys or something :p when you can ALWAYS kill the comm with fabbers or at least combat fabbers
