i am not with unit capturing , that sucked in Sup Com , but i am with building capturing

If you delve into the pa files you will find ui icons for a capture order. To me that suggest you will be able to capture things. Now I doubt we will see it in vinila PA, but I do expect we will see it in mods.

In the current build is there any way for me to play solo?

yes,
Start a new game,
At the next lobby screen you can select "You vs AI."
That is single player or solo mode at the moment..

Right, but I still have to face the AI. Can I just scale down the AI's economy to like 0 to do the testing I want to do?

yes..
Set your eco to 10 and ai to 0 or -1.
Then build away

I have a quick question. What happend to the rocket that took Com in the kickstarter video up to the moon. Now we have this simple flying bot with the shape of opened banana. Is the rocket gone or it moved for final release? I wanted to this this epic animation where particular modules are detached from the main body, and in the end only small orbiter bot lands Com on the moon

We don't know.

If you look closely that actually is the rocket, they just need more animations to make it look more like the transport - like launching the com with the rocket.

He was talking about after the Astraeus was launched. It then comes back down and picks up the Commander and then flies off into space which is different than the Kickstarter video.

That is the point of the search function, or a new thread.
