Is Uber taking suggestions for new commanders?

It really would make sense on a community stand point, giving the community what they want but again from the developer stand point could be whats best.
so in the end this thread will focus on your ideas for new commanders. Use your creativity to its extent to create the best commander you would use in every fight.
This is purely aesthetic of course given that the commanders don't have any unique attacks or power ups that differentiate each other.

My commander? Commander-chan of course, the lolita commander of annihilation.

Honestly, at this time? Probably not too much. We have a LOT of commanders to build between now and ship. That doesn't limit what we can do in the future, however.

And your commander suggestion may fall a little on the inappropriate side. As an aside.

Commanders and what we know so far.

You can't make Lolita, because commanders should be similarly sized.
But... Out of six known commanders four (Progenitor, Alpha, Delta and Theta) are masculine and the other two are dinosaur and a bug. I feel that there should a a feminine looking one too. And I don't mean frontal bumpers and lower booty storage, it's perfectly possible to create feminine visuals without those.

Hey, it's another thread of someone asking for an expensive Kickstarter reward for free. $1000 was the going rate for custom commanders, IIRC.

They paid 1000$ to have commander specifically for them to use. Non-paid suggested commanders are for everyone.

I would argue that they payed $500 for the custom commander, the difference between $1000 tier & $500 tier. Seeing as they got the stuff in the $500 tier as well.

This statement makes no sense because the $500 tier got you a 9 inch tall commander statue signed by the development team. Quoting from the kickstarter campaign:

It makes perfect sense to me.

The 1K tier is 500$ more than the 500$ Tier, ergo the Cost of the Custom Commander to the 1K Backer is 500$, because it also includes all previous tiers.

As to the Topic, I wouldn't expect anything pre-release, maybe post release when the Custom Commanders are done we could maybe see some community involvement for a new commander or something.

My question is, could we set up a community contest for concept art, and vote for 4 commander ideas (one for each chassis), and have Uber use those suggestions when building their commanders? That would be something that would be cool to see.
