    @garat - Thanks! I hope that's fixed the server crashes I've experienced.

    May I request something?

In patch notes, can every change please be documented, especially with regards to unit balance?

while i'm here - a few issues ive noticed overal:

unit coloration. most of the new units are slightly wrong in coloration

defense sattelite just sits and spins. is this intentional? a bug?

both the new tanks do no damage, and don't even turn sometimes the strat.

icon for nukes is misplaced when going between orbital bodies.

Raevn shouldn't have to do it, and neither should I. I shouldn't have to read through the files to find changes.

With respect to him, Raevn also hasn't finished his list of changes, and there are quite a lot of changes that actually aren't in that post on the first page.

It's also part of the patch. Particularly in the future with balance changes.

In addition, there are files on my computer that have changed (e.g. the basic artillery bot folder has been gutted). But that appears to be because that folder was renamed. So it could possibly help Uber notice errors like that. Because verifying files through Steam doesn't fix that, and it doesn't make sense to leave redundant folders and files after a patch.
The reason for that seems to be that the lifetime of the ammunition is 0.1, so they don't appear to actually travel anywhere before the ammunition "expires". Their listed damage is 100, with a fire rate of 4.

heck, i say if he wants to be the one that digs through files, let him.

less stress on the devs that way.

Raevn's a genius, he's got a program that compares the old patch to the new.

I wasn't convinced that was the cause when I first saw it, but now that you mention it, the server tick length is also 0.1 seconds, so maybe the server gets confused and expires them on the same tick they're launched? It's a possibility, at least.

That new build prevents the crash, thanks for that. Veeeery slow to join the game lobby from the list of games though.

Em, so the leveler... 5% dps as before. This must be a typo? Mustn't it?

I'm flattered, but using WinMerge hardly makes me a genius :D

There are a *lot* of changes here, so expect it to take a little time to type it out. I've had to split it out into it's own thread because it got too big. And I haven't even really looked into the non-unit changes yet too, so they will be included as well (most of the UI changes are only to do with localisation, though).

    Best change:
New build icon for the Avatar debug/testing unit:

The builds that have come out since the 16th do not work well with my AMD Radeon HD 6970M in my Mid 2011 imac. Build 58772 and before worked very well, but since I installed this new build I have to set the quality on low or everything except the metal spots are black. Before it played well on high.

I was talking about DPS not damage. They also shoot twice as slow as before. :D

You think? The leveler seems pretty fair, I think. Sure, the DPS is only a tiny bit better than a Pounder, but 120 range and a bunch of health isn't anything to sneeze at.

It's still a massive upgrade on a t1 tank, it has more HP, DPS and range over the t1 tank for cost.

Oh yeah. I figure they are decreasing refire rate across the board.

Like the pounder now also shoots twice as slow. We know that refire rate change is intentional. So value change might not .

Personally I don't see the point of the Leveller anymore.

It doesn't seem to have an established role. If you want health, inferno provides twice as much for cost, while the Ant provides much cheaper damage per second, and the Sheller gives you the range advantage
