For me, it's when that first air factory comes up and I delight in finally being able to send my first couple air scouts out via the area patrol command... ohhhh, waaaaiiit. click-move-click-move-click-click...

That's a very unintentional and awful kerning problem I seem to have discovered there. Yikes!

But then tomorrow's Thursday. And Thursday is today. And that's only a day away from Friday... and then we're into next week, but everybody has Monday blues, so nothing happens until Tuesday, but Tuesday is an awful day to do anything, so then you push it until Wednesday, but Wednesday, people are distracted, the weekend is approaching, so it doesn't happen until Thursday, which is today, and then we're back to Friday again, and it never stops!

Click move will still be the preferred approach early game as you want to scout for potential spawn points where mass is dense. Area patrol will be too slow to scout everyone.

I figure that will be the case, yah, but I at least want to play with the notion of setting a few quick concentric circles and letting the patrol pathing have a go at it. It might be good enough in some cases, even if just to determine that the enemy spawn isn't right up in my front yard. Yah, ok, maybe I'm just daydreaming/hoping. It's why I'm itching to try it out though, right!

Excellent news, really pumped for this patch as Multi-planet games are a little stale at the moment.

    Thanks for the uber-update!

i remember the old times where even the buggiest of builds where shipped :) a time where builds were released even if the game crashed 90% of the time or you had to manually path around building! can we opt to use the buggy build :) pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee!

I'd be fine with the build I saw, occasional dancing nuke and bots having trouble patrolling are small peanuts. Just push fixes for them tomorrow.

When we get the next build can you include the balance changes in the changelog for reference? Can't wait :3

Exactly, the faster we are in telling the UI what we want it to do, the better. Tons of clicks saved and more time to focus on what does really matter.

Unlikely. Game devs don't release patches before weekends just in case something goes wrong unless they're working on the weekend.
