    Great work brian, just to clarify the short range levellers you're talking about are the flame tanks, but without art/flame effects. I think some t1 ones were built as well but not 100% sure (getting all this from yesterday's playtest).

    Think you'd got that but just checking :)

    There's two new tanks. The Inferno (labeled as a flame tank) and the Vanguard (labeled as a short range tank, no mention of flame). In the latest play test, Meta used both of them.

    The black modeled ones were The Vanguards (90% sure) – which I don't think are a flame tank.

    I never actually saw any of the flame tanks fire. Which was weird. Wonder if there's no animation for it yet.

    Aah, I completely misunderstood.

    Happy to hear this, glad it's not going to be 'flame tank' and 'bigger badder flame tank' as with ants/levellers.

    I'm curious how we would differentiate between portals if we have more than two planets which connect to our starting planet. I wonder if other teams' units are able to travel through enemy portals.

    Only two portals can be turned on at a time. So you have to turn off one, and then turn on another, to make portals go to different locations.

    Currently, enemy units cannot go through the portal. There's been discussion on the forums about adding that... we'll see what Uber does. Personally, I don't think Uber will add it.

    My bad. Thought that it was a change.

    Either way. We probably will see new nukes added. I'm really excited about it.

    I've noticed that build commands can already overlap for mexxes across a planet.

    I'm going to guess he's going on pure gut instinct here. Unless Brian has some form of information pipeline to Uber that I'm unaware of, he's just spit-balling.

    I wouldn't take what he's prophesying as anything more than speculation.

    In one of the playtests I saw an Inferno fire and there are no flame effects yet. It seemed to fire some sort of gatling shotgun at super short range. Not very effective yet, but I'm sure it'll get some more work before we get to play with it.

    I remember a number of threads that discus this. Some are dedicated, some are mentioned on other threads, and some were in different forums.

    Can't remember.

    It's mostly speculation.

    It'd be an awesome addition though.

    Yeah it'd be pretty cool, can't quite think how different warheads would differ, but it's late and I'm wiped out. I'll have a think about it tomorrow.

    There's a lot of ways.

    It could be as simple as some warheads are bigger and cause more damage, but cost more to build. Some could have a greater area of effect, but less damage, and some could have greater ranges.

    Then there's also the possibility of adding all sorts of unique warheads like EMPs or corrosive damage or something.

    Even if it's as simple as making warheads with different overall strength, I think it'll be an awesome addition to the game.
